Who We are - Professional Interpreters
Interpretation Solutions (I.S.) is based in the Greater
Toronto Area (GTA) of Ontario, a cosmopolitan centre where over
a hundred languages and dialects are spoken within its population.
I.S. comprises a multilingual team of qualified professional
interpreters who can assist with your communication needs in
the Ontario area.
I.S. offers you the following:
Certified Interpreters of professional associations such as
- the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO)
- the American Translators Association (ATA)
- other members of the Canadian Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters Council (CTTIC)
Our team consists of both Certified Conference Interpreters and Certified Court Interpreters. These professionals have passed national standardized certification examinations or obtained on-dossier certification based on recognition of relevant qualifications and practical experience. The title of certified interpreter is an assurance of language expertise, quality service, and strict adherence to professional code of ethics.
Accredited Interpreters with different government organizations such as
- Ministry of Attorney General - Ontario
- Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada
- Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Interpreters usually obtain their accreditation with specific agencies through a combination of examination, in-house training and, where applicable, security clearance. The title of Accredited Interpreter is another guarantee of professional excellence and integrity.
